A Mobile Outdoor Modular Park in Turkey

The Brief
Since 2021, Airparx have been working with HUPALUPA to provide a modular outdoor mini air park solution for their HUPALUPA GO Festival – a mobile version of their current offering.
HUPALUPA, in Turkey offers a unique and exciting experience for visitors of all ages combining fun, excitement and adventure by providing a destination with an array of engaging attractions.
Along with manufacturing and installing this modular park, Airparx were tasked with designing bright and vibrant artwork that represented the HUPALUPA brand.
The Challenge
The challenge with this modular park was due to the nature of the brief, it had to be mobile – packed and moved around Turkey easily.
The main focus from Airparx was to push the boundaries with what’s possible and perfect the measurements of sizes, pack sizes, dimensions and weight all for mobile use.
It was important to make sure logistically, the project was spot on. One by one the attractions were to be decided, how many modules there will be, the sizes of the units and how they will all be connected together.
The Process
A collaborative approach with HUPALUPA was adopted as Airparx designers were to make sure all the challenges were discussed to meet operational requirements.
The key was to provide a range of different attractions that appealed to the age demographic of the festival. Dwell time and experience on the units were carefully designed to ensure users are on long enough to enjoy, and just short enough to keep motivation of return.
As one of the newest products in the Airparx range, this project was assigned to the most experienced stitching team in the manufacturing facility. This experienced team of stitchers have produced over 180 parks globally and always ready to take on new challenges.
The Result
As this concept of mobile design and installation was revolutionary, Airparx sent a bespoke installation team to Turkey, to train and test the first installation and pack up. This resulted in the installation and collapse time, and pack time in record hours.
The mobile concept for festivals become so popular between 2021 and 2022 which involved 5 individual festivals. As the demand increased, so did expectation. Airparx created a 2nd unit in 2024 to meet the demand of a fantastic offering.
